For accounting firms

Updated

A custom AI agent for the work you give it.

What your firm already does by hand, and what it never has time to do. You describe the work, whatever it is; we build the agent on your own examples. It works from your emails, documents and files, and prepares drafts or files. A member of your staff reviews, corrects and decides.

You receive a demonstration on your own examples and a written proposal.

  • You choose the task, our examples are not a limit
  • Drafts or files. Nothing goes out without a member of your staff
  • Doubtful cases are flagged to you, with the reason
  • Tested on your examples before any decision

Demonstrations and written proposals open in the coming weeks. Your description is recorded now, handled in order of arrival, and we write to you as soon as they open.

Where your staff's time goes

Chasing missing documents, rewriting the same reminder, answering the same questions one by one. These tasks repeat, and they often slip behind the rest when the workload rises. Two recent public facts weigh on these tasks.

  1. Since 1 September 2026, every business established in France and liable for VAT must be able to receive electronic invoices.

  2. Issuing electronic invoices becomes mandatory on 1 September 2027 for small and medium businesses and micro businesses (since 1 September 2026 for large and mid-sized companies).

  3. To get advice, 41% of the heads of very small, small and medium businesses turn first to their accountant, 23 points more than a year earlier; the e-invoicing reform has strengthened these relationships, according to the Baromètre France Num 2026.

We do not sell e-invoicing and we are not an approved platform. The agent can take on the work around it, for example reminders, client questions or documents to follow up.

Examples of what an agent can do for you

You choose the work you give the agent. What the firm already does by hand, or what it never has time to do. Here are a few examples, and any other task you describe to us. In every case, the agent works from your emails, documents and files, prepares drafts or files, and a member of your staff approves. We start with a single task, before going further.

Chasing missing documents

From your document tracker, it prepares one reminder per client, with the exact documents, the period, the deadline and your signature. If a document seems to have arrived already or a note asks to wait, it prepares no reminder and tells you.

Answers to your clients' recurring questions

From your own information sheets, it prepares an answer and names the sheet it used. If the question goes beyond your sheets or calls for personal advice or a figure, it holds back and passes the question to you.

Letters and engagement proposals

From your templates and the details of the file, it prepares a first draft of a letter, an engagement letter or an engagement proposal. Fees and the firm's commitments stay in your hands.

Minutes and one-page file summaries

From your notes and your files, it prepares minutes in the firm's format, or sums up a client file on one page, with the points to follow up.

Following deadlines from your files

From your tracking spreadsheets, it lists the deadlines coming up for each file and prepares the internal reminders. The dates come from your files. It invents none.

Newsletter and practical guides for your clients

What the firm never has time to do, such as a monthly newsletter on what is new for your clients, or practical guides. The agent writes from the sources you point it to, without personal advice; a member of your staff reviews it before anything is shared.

A complete example, on an imaginary firm

Here is one example among others, chasing missing documents. The document tracker of a fictional firm holds five client files. The agent reads it in one pass.

ExampleDemonstration on fictional data. No name and no file matches a real client.

What the agent reads

ResultFour reminder drafts, one per client, and one flagged case. For Restaurant Fictif SAS, the agent writes nothing and notes “The internal note says the documents were received on 24 September. Check before sending any reminder.”

SubjectAugust 2026 bank statements to send before 2 October

Dear Mr Lefèvre,

To move your file forward, we still need your August 2026 bank statements (current account).

Could you send them to us before Friday 2 October 2026? You can upload them to your client area, in the Documents section, or email them to the firm's filing address.

Thank you in advance,

The Cabinet Démo Expertise team
A question received

Hello, what do I need to send you for the September VAT?

Prepared answer

For your September VAT return, please send us your sales invoices, your purchase invoices and your September bank statements before 5 October. (From sheet F01, documents for monthly VAT.)

To the question “What is the deadline for filing my annual tax return this year?”, which none of the firm's sheets covers, the agent does not invent a date. It passes the question to the person in charge of the file.

That is the rule on every row. The agent prepares, the staff member decides.

What stays with you

  • Your accounting work and your software. The agent works alongside them, it does not replace them.
  • The firm's signature and professional responsibility, as today.
  • The decision to send. The agent sends nothing on its own.
  • Advice to your clients. The agent gives no personal advice, no figures and no fee amounts.

Starting prices

The exact price is written in the proposal, after the demonstration on your examples.

More details

Starting prices, in euros excl. VAT.

How to start, entirely in writing

  1. Step 1. Describe the task

Whatever it is, already done by hand or never done for want of time. Describe it in a few lines and attach 2 or 3 anonymised examples, with the result you expect.

  2. Step 2. See the agent at work

We send you back the result on your examples, with a short video.

  3. Step 3. Receive the proposal

Two priced options. You sign online if it suits you.

  4. Step 4. Going live

Your examples become the acceptance test. The agent stays in draft mode, and your staff approve every message before it goes out.

The steps in detail

Plain answers.

Something else on your mind? Write to us and we will reply in writing.

We already have our accounting software.

The agent does not replace it and does not connect to it. It works alongside, on what your software does not do, for example chasing clients, answering the questions that keep coming back, following up documents.

What if the agent makes a mistake?

It only prepares drafts, and it flags doubtful cases rather than pushing ahead, as in the example above. Before it goes live, it is tested on your own examples and you see any errors it makes. We commit to the means we put in, not to an absence of errors.

If an answer is wrong, who is responsible towards my client?

You stay in charge of the work and you sign it. Nothing goes out without a member of your staff approving it, and the firm's chain of responsibility does not change. We commit to the means we put into the tool, not to taking on your professional responsibility.

Our files are covered by professional secrecy. What happens to the information?

For each agent, we first agree with you, in writing, on what it will do and which data it will use. What is processed, by which subprocessors and for how long is set out in the data processing agreement attached to every proposal. For a demonstration, send anonymised examples; without a contract, they are deleted 30 days later. The firm remains responsible for its professional secrecy.

Do you do e-invoicing?

No. We are not an approved platform and the agent neither issues nor receives invoices. It can help with the work around the switch, for example reminders about mandates and documents, or answers to your clients' questions from your information sheets.

Does the agent reply directly to our clients?

No, by default it prepares drafts that your staff send. If you later choose to let it answer some requests on its own, it tells your clients that they are dealing with an automated assistant.

Where do we start?

With the task that costs you the most, or the one you never have time for, whatever it is. The examples on this page are not a limit. We start with a single task, and go further once the first one delivers on your examples.

How much does it cost?

For a managed agent, agent build from EUR 490 excl. VAT, then you pay for what it uses, with a monthly minimum that includes it, from EUR 49 excl. VAT a month. To buy it once, from EUR 3,000 excl. VAT. The exact price is in the written proposal.

Can we discuss it by phone?

We work entirely in writing. You keep a record of every commitment, and you see the agent work on your examples before you decide. Write to us at [email protected]; we reply in writing within one business day.

What happens to the agent if we stop?

If you buy it once, the agent, its files and its documentation are yours on full payment. With a managed agent, you export its configuration and its history with no exit fee.
